IB Art
Over the past four years of high school my artistic abilities have expanded far beyond my imagination. Taking IB Art this year has helped me to perfect my art style but influenced me to future my art career. Taking on option b was a tough decision for me and my art teacher but after a couple projects we found option be to be my best choice. With being graded heavily on my notebook I was focusing more time on my notebook than my actual projects. Always pressing for time to achieve my final artworks and always concerned about every last detail made for a challenging class. Using my technique in photography and my ability to think outside the box took functioning pieces and I turned them into functioning art. Using my general ideas and building from that as I'm influenced by the things I see around me. My theme being nature made for an array of my artistic skills to shine through not only my artwork but also my notebook. Treating my notebook as my own personal diary and filling the pages with my words of frustration, happiness, sadness, and resources makes it hard to turn them loose. Taking what I have learned about myself through to my artwork has made for three full books displaying my skills, concerns, purposes, sources, techniques, process, influences, media achievements, and my overall focus.
